We have gathered weather data from the nearby Muonio weather station in Finland. As the charts below show, early winter 2018 has been abnormally warm and dry in Muonio, nearly the warmest and driest in our dataset, which extends back to 1958. And overall, 2018 has been an extremely warm year to date (as of mid November).
