11-4-13 Ice fishing hazardous - Golovin, Alaska, USA
Observation: Went out ice fishing at the Kitch for the last two days. Anyone (weighing) over 150 lbs was making the ice creak. I won't go on it until we have another cold night - on some nights our nights are warmer than a cold day, it has been like that for the three or so falls. Like everywhere else, we have had a very wet October. On Friday when we got back we had a lot of lagoon ice drifting around, it looks like it is mostly water again. Toby Anungazuk, Jr.
