Ducks were fly north along shoreline of Kivalina

The observation was made by a visitor in the City Office, who was looking out the 2nd-floor window when he saw the ducks flying by to the north following the shores of the Chukchi Sea by Kivalina. He was very surprised and so were we. Ducks don't fly in December. It's supposed to be too cold. The ducks are supposed to be somewhere South.
