Northern Grasshoppers

Observation: A child caught the grasshopper on that day. The insects have never been observed here before. Kendra Lee

LEO says: This critter look similar to the northern grasshopper, Melanoplus borealis borealis (Fieber)), and by the looks of it, pushing out beyond its natural range.
