Highest measured temperatures ever (2018) were measured in Arcen, Holland. 38,2 degrees celsius. Observation made is prediction of 38 degrees. These 3 Days. Highest Ever. Program LEO has few European measurements available.

Thank you Dazzle Fish for your observation about the heat wave in Holland. It is true we have few LEO Network observations in Europe, but we have a growing membership and increasing inventory of event related news articles. We hope to see more observations coming from Europe in the months ahead!

As to extreme temperatures, the Groningen Airport in Eelde had a high of 98 degrees on July 24th, as reported at Weather Underground. Please see attached news articles about this record breaking event.
