An abundant harvest of various berries this year.
Observation by Anna R. John:
We are blessed to have patches and patches of berries on this island this year. I've never seen this many blueberries and salmon berries before. Some of the blueberries were humongous and some were in bunches on their branches. You'd pick a handful from one branch. There's also a lot of blackberries too. There are so much that when my husband and I went berry picking we picked 12 gallons in an hour with a berry picker. That was the fastest record that I am aware of... When I go berry picking I try not to step on the berries but there are so many that I hear 'snap, crackle, pop' with steps that I take.
