Unusual weather pattern that changes conditions quickly.
Observation: I have noticed, over the course of my stay here in Unalakleet, since the early 2012, that the duration of the rain has shortened and how quickly the weather changes. Here is an example, at approximately 3 PM AKDT today, hail came down followed by a brief rain spell that occurred a couple minutes later and lasted for just as long. An hour later, about 4 PM, the weather went from dark black clouds to a puffy white. One could not say that such an event happened if they hadn't gazed at the sky.
