Coyote (Canis latrans) Sighting

Nearly 30 years living in the Fairbanks area and this is the first time I've seen a coyote.

According to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, coyotes (Canis latrans) were initially reported in Southeast Alaska before expanding their range north. Although coyote populations have declined since the 1940's, they can still be found across a large portion of interior Alaska.
