Warm temperatures come early this year.
Observation: The water temperature in Lake Minnetonka is reading 87 degrees fahrenheit. This based on a boat temp meter. I talked with two relatives, Tom Skramstad and Amy Skramstad who has lived on and around the lake for years. These kinds of temps are not unheard of, but it is earlier this year then normal this year. The algae and water plants are also worse then ever. With the temperatures already so warm in July, these residents are concerned about what lake conditions will be like in August.
