Seasonal Change

Observation: This year is very different than other years before it. Since late November 2013, we usually experience colder temperatures around this time of year, but since the tilting of the earth, the change in the temperature of the climate, and wind direction, we have been experiencing warm and cold sessions since December 2013. We have been getting some snow followed by rain, which has caused a lot of slush and ice buildup on our roads. We have witnessed cracks opening up on the river and water level would rise during the high tides. Mary C Matthias - Nightmute Tribal Council
