A strong storm impacting NW Alaska with high winds and sea level rise (over 6 ft) caused localized flooding in Kotzebue. Airport road heading SW out of town was flooded with approx 3-4 ft of water, minor flooding along Caribou Street leading to the hospital, boat harbor inundated, and several ground-level structures with some flooding. WNW winds blowing 20 - 30 mph, gusts to 45 mph.
