Interesting moth - One Tree Island, near Nondalton, Alaska, USA
Observation: I found an unusual moth. I have never seen one of these in Alaska before. Fawn Silas, Nondalton Tribal Council, Administrator/Bookkeeper

LEO says: There were four previous posts about moths in Alaska, in particular a post dated about a year earlier, July 21, 2013 to the west-northwest of Nondalton in the community of St. Mary's which is a new site record for the Tiger moth (Arctia caja) in that part of Alaska, according to Dr. Kendelm W. Philip, Alaska Lepidoptera Club.
