Salmonberry blossom seem a little early this year.
Observation by Dorothea Berntsen:
During the late afternoon, early evening of April 06, 2015, on the campus of Mt. Edgecumber High School, my daughter noticed that the salmonberry flowers were in full bloom. This seems a little early in the season to see the berry flowering, is this a sign of an early harvest season as a result of a very mild winter? Is their potential of having an effect on other wildlife because of the berries early development?
