Windy, No Snow

Observation: There has been little to no snow for this time of the year, it's strange for this part of Southcentral Alaska. Its been really windy and dry with temperature rising and falling from day to day at times. With out enough snow on the ground there is the possibility of wildfires because the atmosphere is really dry, and windy. Also making the river water level very low and could cause harm to the salmon that live in the streams. Tatyana Tcheripanoff, LEO Youth
