River erosion along the Yukon River near..?
Observation: Unusual river erosion caused by high water level.
LEO says: Risk and rate of erosion depends on several different factors, such as the type of soil or other erodible material, and the energy source that promotes erosion such as river water or coastal tides, among others. More information on the factors affecting erosion, ways to control erosion, or seeking assistance, see the State of Alaska DCCED report, Understanding and Evaluating Erosion Problems. M. Tcheripanoff
